THE EMBASSY OF TURKMENISTAN IN THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA DEDICATED ITS PARTICIPATION IN EVENTS IN HONOR OF THE INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM DAY, TO THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF TURKMENISTAN'S NEUTRALITY

From May 13 to May 26, 2020, at the Peace Garden Museum of the China World Peace Fund, together with the Beijing International Peace Culture Fund, the Beijing Association of Friendship with Foreign Countries and other public organizations in honor of International Museum Day, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in China launched an exhibition dedicated to 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality.

The Embassy of Turkmenistan exhibited some exhibits at the Peace Garden Museum, including the books of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, “Turkmenistan - The Heart of the Silk Road”, “Akhal-Teke Horse - A Symbol of Pride and Happiness”, “Turkmen Alabay”, publications of Turkmenistan's Foreign Ministry, and ”Turkmenistan“ and “Miras”, handicrafts, carpets, paintings and photographs.

In his speech at the opening ceremony of the complex of online events dedicated to the International Museum Day, the Chairman of the China World Peace Fund, Mr. Li Ruohong, noted about the exhibition of Turkmenistan, handmade thin carpets, finished textile products, Akhal-Teke horses, which became the standard of beauty in Chinese culture, as well as thanked the Embassy of Turkmenistan in China for the directed video and photo materials on various aspects of the state’s modern life, especially neutrality.

In his presentation, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the PRC spoke about the importance of neutrality of Turkmenistan and drew special attention of the online audience for the upcoming holidays in honor of the 25th anniversary of the neutrality of Turkmenistan and the extensive events planned in this regard on December 11-12, 2020.
