A VIDEOCONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF TURKMENISTAN'S PERMANENT NEUTRALITY WAS HELD IN THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS
On May 28, 2020 a videoconference was held between the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus and the Belarus State Agricultural Academy on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Permanent Neutrality.
The meeting was attended by staff of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus, Rector of the Belarus State Agricultural Academy V.Velikanov, Vice-Rector M.Potapenko, professors and teachers as well as foreign and Turkmen students studying at the Academy.
The conference focused on the history and significance of Turkmenistan's positive Neutrality policy, its role in strengthening international and regional stability, and efforts of our country to ensure the overall peace and sustainable development. The sides also discussed in detail the gained achievements and success from recognition of the Neutrality of Turkmenistan to the present day.
Emphasizing the significant contribution of Turkmenistan's positive Neutrality policy to global values, the participants noted a number of international initiatives based on Turkmenistan's proposal.
