PERSPECTIVES OF TURKMEN – BAHRAINI DIALOG ARE DISCUSSED
Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Berdyniyaz Myatiyev held online meeting with Deputy Foreign Minister for International Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain Sheikh Abdullah Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
During the conversation, the sides discussed current subjects of cooperation in political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The importance of bilateral high-level contacts and collaboration between foreign departments of two countries has been highlighted. The agenda has also included subjects of inter-parliamentary dialog.
Bahraini side has noted the input of neutral Turkmenistan to support of stability and security as well as economic integration in the region. Mutual interest has been expressed in activation of the partnership on the platform of international organizations, the UN in particular. Special focus has been made on realization of the agreements reached during consultations between the Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Bahrain held in July this year.
Having noted a role of Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Trade, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, the sides reviewed the opportunity of expansion of cooperation between business circles of two countries including investment sphere and partnership in oil and gas industry and organization of business forums.
